1. About these terms

RepPlate is operated by IVAN WAI KIM HOU, an individual based in Malaysia ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the RepPlate app and website ("RepPlate"). By using RepPlate or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use RepPlate. Contact: ivan.wai.908@gmail.com.

2. What RepPlate does

RepPlate lets you log food and workouts, see calorie and macro targets, count repetitions and get form feedback using your device's camera, and (with an account) back up your data and connect with a coach. The core features are free. Some features are part of RepPlate Pro (section 5). We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. Health and safety

• Not medical advice. RepPlate provides general fitness and nutrition information. Calorie targets, macro targets, food suggestions and adaptive targets are estimates based on standard formulas and the data you enter. They are not medical, dietary or professional advice.
• Check with a doctor first before starting a new exercise or diet programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or injury, are under 18, or take medication.
• Camera feedback is guidance only. Rep counts and form scores are generated automatically and can be wrong (for example, with poor lighting or camera placement). Use your own judgement and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
• Exercise safely. Make sure you have enough clear space, and keep your device placed securely.
• Food information comes from a general database and may not match what you actually eat.

4. Your account

• You can use RepPlate without an account. An account is needed for backup, sync, RepPlate Pro and coaching.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are 13 to 17, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy on your behalf.
• Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts to get repeated free trials.

5. RepPlate Pro subscriptions

• Price. RM 12.90 per month or RM 119.90 per year, in Malaysian ringgit. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel.
• Free trial. First-time subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Your card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Each person can have one free trial.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time in RepPlate under Profile → Plan → Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Refunds. See the Refund Policy.
• Price changes. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies. It takes effect from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it for a short time and you keep Pro while it does. If it still fails, your account returns to the free plan. Your data is kept.
• Early access. While RepPlate is in early access, Pro features may be available free for a limited time. We'll tell you before that ends.

6. Coaches

• Coaches are independent RepPlate users, not our employees or agents. Any coaching arrangement, and any payment for coaching outside RepPlate, is between you and your coach.
• We don't check coaches' qualifications and aren't responsible for their advice.
• A coach can only see a client's data after the client agrees, and only until either of them ends the connection. Coaches must use what they see only to coach that client, keep it confidential, and follow applicable privacy laws. We may close the account of a coach who misuses client data.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use RepPlate to break the law or harm others; try to access other people's accounts or data; interfere with, overload or attack the service; copy or resell it; or use automated tools to collect data from it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

8. Your data

You own the data you put into RepPlate. You allow us to store and process it only as needed to run RepPlate for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can download it or delete your account at any time in Profile → Account. When you're not signed in, your data is stored only on your device, and you're responsible for backing it up (Profile → Data → Export).

9. Availability

We work to keep RepPlate running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. We may need to pause it for maintenance, and we may change or stop features. If we stop offering Pro, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Malaysian consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows:

• RepPlate is provided "as is", and we aren't liable for injuries or health outcomes resulting from exercise or diet choices you make using RepPlate's information or feedback (see section 3);
• we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you didn't back up;
• our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using RepPlate and delete your account at any time (Profile → Account → Delete account). Deleting your account cancels any subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll update the date above and ask you to agree again in the app before you continue using your account.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Malaysia.
